Teaching Assistant Manchester M11 Contract Type: Contracted A primary school in Manchester is looking for a dedicated, passionate, and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in helping pupils with Special Educational Needs including classroom support, one-to-one interventions, and assisting in other activities. You will work closely with teachers and support staff to create a safe engaging and inclusive learning environment. You will support pupils with a range of complex needs, including: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Learning Difficulties Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs Physical disabilities Duties Provide close support to children with Special Educational Needs. Work closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored learning activities. Support pupils in developing their academic, emotional, and social skills. Promote an inclusive learning environment where every child can learn and thrive. Monitor and report on pupil progress to help shape their individual education plans. Managing behaviour effectively with restorative approaches. Requirements Experience with SEN desirable. Right to work in the UK. Full UK driving Licence and access to a vehicle(highly desirable).
