Welsh-Speaking Teaching Assistant (ALN) - Cardiff & Surrounding Areas

We are seeking a Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant with experience supporting learners with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) to join schools across Cardiff and nearby areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant to work in inclusive classrooms, supporting pupils'' academic, social, and emotional development while promoting the use of the Welsh language.

The Role:

• Supporting pupils with ALN in both mainstream and specialist settings

• Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions in Welsh and English

• Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and differentiated activities

• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in learning

• Promoting bilingual communication and cultural awareness within the classroom

The Ideal Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant Candidate Will Have:

• Fluency in Welsh and English (spoken and written)

• Previous experience supporting learners with ALN (autism, ADHD, dyslexia, speech & language needs, etc.)

• Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2/3) or equivalent experience

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach to learning support
