An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teaching Assistant to join a thriving Primary School in Deptford as their new OPAL Lead. This is a fantastic chance for someone with a sports background and strong interpersonal skills to make a real difference, both in the playground and the classroom.

As the school''s OPAL Lead, the successful Teaching Assistant will take the lead in delivering structured play opportunities during break and lunch times, ensuring children are engaged, safe, and supported in their social development. Alongside this, you will also work as a Teaching Assistant in classrooms across KS1 and KS2, providing support to pupils and teachers to enhance learning and behaviour management.

The school is trialling and interviewing immediately, so an ASAP start is essential. Previous Teaching Assistant experience in a primary setting is desirable, particularly if combined with a background in sports, physical education, or outdoor learning.
