About the Role: Year 4 Teaching Assistant (with SEN focus)

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support learning in Year 4 and provide additional help for pupils with special educational needs. The role would suit an experienced LSA or a graduate keen to develop a career in education.

Responsibilities:

• Support teaching and learning across the Year 4 class

• Provide targeted SEN support (1:1 and small groups)

• Work with teachers to adapt resources and lessons

• Promote positive behaviour and pupil well-being

• Contribute to classroom organisation and smooth delivery of lessons

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience as an LSA or is a motivated graduate

• Understands inclusive practice and SEN support

• Communicates effectively and builds strong relationships

• Is proactive, adaptable, and a strong team player

• Shares our high expectations for all pupils

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.

The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
