Tradewind Recruitment is working with a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Hayes, Hillingdon, who are seeking a dedicated Secondary Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time from September 2025.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced Teaching Assistants who are passionate about supporting students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting classroom teachers across a range of subjects and year groups (KS3-KS4)
• Working with students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, particularly those with SEN or additional needs
• Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom management
• Promoting a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment
• Supporting the implementation of learning strategies and behaviour plans

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with secondary-aged pupils is desirable (school, tuition, youth work or mentoring)
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, positive attitude
• A genuine interest in education or a future career in teaching
• A DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply through Tradewind Recruitment
