Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with children in Key Stage 1 at a number of warm and inclusive primary schools across South Liverpool.

This is a highly rewarding role where you will be supporting pupils with Autism and additional needs, helping them to flourish both academically and socially within a supportive school environment.

As a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Provide individualised support for children with Autism and other SEN.

• Adapt activities and resources to meet each child''s unique learning style.

• Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored support plans.

• Encourage positive behaviour, build self-esteem, and promote social and emotional development.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Proven experience supporting children with Autism.

• A background working with children, either in schools or as a Support Worker.

• A Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or above) - desirable but not essential with the right experience.

• Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.

• A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential.
