Teaching Assistant

Are you an education expert? We are currently looking to represent an experienced Teaching Assistant for a part-time role (three days per week) at a STEM academy in Solihull, West Midlands. If you are an experienced Teaching Assistant with a background in Engineering, Maths or Science who is available from October half-term 2025, or sooner, we would be keen to speak with you.

The academy places a strong emphasis on raising learners’ aspirations, providing them with the motivation and drive to succeed. Through close partnerships with leading regional employers and strong links with further and higher education, the curriculum has been shaped from the outset to reflect the skills and ethos valued in today’s professional world.

Collaboration is central to the academy’s approach, with learners regularly working in teams to develop key attributes such as problem solving, creativity, leadership, communication, resilience and adaptability. Staff play an active role in modelling these behaviours, ensuring that students are well prepared for future careers and highly sought after by employers.

In order to be successfully shortlisted for any of your applications with us, we will require the following:

• A relevant UK-based Teaching Assistant qualification (minimum level 3).
• Substantial experience within either a Secondary school or College environment.
• All required documents for safer recruitment processing, including but not limited to valid proof of right to work and a valid Enhanced DBS.
• Exceptional references.

Once shortlisted, a one-to-one interview will be scheduled with your dedicated consultant to discuss your experience and personal requirements.

Proposed start date: October half-term 2025 or sooner
Salary: Dependent on experience (£97.43 per day to £133.33)
