Teaching Assistants (Multi-Form Entry Primary Schools, Denton - Tameside)

Pay: -13.68 - -16.00 per hour (depending on experience and role type)

Empowering Learning is seeking experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join multi-form entry primary schools and academies in Denton (Tameside). These schools have excellent reputations for community spirit, inclusion, and staff development. We are recruiting for multiple opportunities across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.

Role responsibilities:

• Supporting pupils in whole-class settings, small groups, and 1:1

• Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management

• Providing tailored support to learners with SEND and additional needs

• Helping with planning, preparation, and resources

• Encouraging positive behaviour and pupil engagement in learning

Requirements for Registration:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a school support role desirable

• Minimum Level 2 English & Maths (or equivalent)

• Relevant TA qualification (e.g. CACHE/NVQ) desirable but not essential

• Enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply)

• Right to work in the UK

• Two professional references covering the last 2 years
