Experienced Teaching Assistant - Primary School - Lewisham
Location: Lewisham, South East London
Start Date: April 2026 (after Easter holidays)
Contract: Full-time (Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm)
Pay: -95100 per day (PAYE)
Duration: Until July 2026, with potential to continue in September

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in the London Borough of Lewisham.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident TA who is passionate about supporting children''s learning and development in a supportive school environment.

The Role:

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons

• Working with small groups and on a 1:1 basis where required

• Assisting pupils with varying learning needs to reach their full potential

• Helping to maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment

• Full-time role, 5 days per week

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A proactive and adaptable approach

• A genuine passion for working with children and supporting education

• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
