Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant - KS2 (Year 4) - Ilford Primary School

Location: Ilford, East London
Salary: -95110 per day (dependent on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (1 Academic Year)
Start Date: Tuesday 3rd September 2025

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Ilford. This full-time role involves working closely with a Year 4 pupil who has complex needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a child''s education and well-being, while gaining valuable experience in a nurturing and collaborative environment.

• Provide 1:1 support to a Year 4 pupil with ASD and ADHD

• Help implement personalised learning strategies and behaviour plans

• Promote engagement and inclusion within the classroom

• Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals

• Support the pupil''s social, emotional, and academic development

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a UK primary school classroom (essential)

• Strong understanding of supporting children with ASD and/or ADHD

• Calm, patient, and empathetic approach to behaviour management

• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow guidance

• Right to work in the UK
