SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistants - Newport

Are you a caring and adaptable Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)? We''re currently seeking dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a range of year groups in primary schools throughout Newport, providing essential support to pupils with a variety of complex needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support for pupils with ALN and complex needs
• Assist with the development of communication, social, and emotional skills
• Support learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

• Experience supporting children with ALN and/or complex needs
• A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
• Two professional references
