Teaching Assistant – Havering | Immediate Start

Location: Havering, East London
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Temporary
Pay: £100–£120 per day (depending on experience)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in Havering for an immediate start. This is a temporary position with potential for extension for the right candidate.

The Role

• Support students in the classroom across KS3 and KS4

• Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management

• Provide one-to-one and small group support where required

• Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment

• Support students with additional learning needs where necessary

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children or young people (school experience desirable)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Patient, proactive and supportive approach

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

• Right to work in the UK
