£444.50 - £450.13 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

A welcoming Sunderland school is seeking a full-time Year 1 Teaching Assistant to work across two classes. The role involves supporting class teachers, providing 1:1 and small group interventions, and delivering tailored support for SEN pupils. Experience in Key Stage 1 and knowledge of SEN strategies are desirable. The school offers a supportive, inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to thrive, develop confidence, and reach their full potential.

Requirements:

The desired Teaching Assistant will have;

• Experience of working within KS1.
• Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
• A passion for the progress of pupils.
• An ability to work as part of a team.
