Vision for Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Ashford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning and development as they prepare for the transition to secondary school.
The Role
As a Year 6 Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide targeted support to pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis.
- Assist the class teacher with the delivery of engaging and creative lessons.
- Support children in preparation for SATs, helping to build their confidence and knowledge.
- Encourage positive behaviour and help create a safe, supportive learning environment.
- Work closely with the school team to ensure every child reaches their potential.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
- Experience working with children, ideally within Key Stage 2.
- A patient, caring, and proactive approach.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- A genuine passion for education and supporting children’s learning.
- A valid DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
