The School and Role  

Are you passionate about making a real difference in children’s development from their earliest moment s in education. We are particularly seeking someone who has experience developing the speech, language, and communication skills of young children.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive school in the BL3 area of Bolton. This central location is easily accessible by public transport and is part of a well-respected primary school.

Requirements

• We are particularly seeking someone with experience in
• Supporting speech, language, and communication development
• Encouraging a love for reading and early literacy
• Using play-based learning strategies to engage and support children.
• Adapting and breaking down curriculum content confidently and clearly

Key Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 or in small groups, delivering teacher-led interventions.
• Promote children’s language development and support reading sessions.
• Build positive relationships with children and staff.
• Support pupils with specific SEND needs, helping them to access learning.
• Create an inclusive and nurturing environment within the classroom and outdoor areas.
