JOB TITLE - Teaching Assistant

ABOUT THE SCHOOL
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School located in East Bristol.
The school has a supportive team environment and offers ongoing CPD opportunities throughout the year.
Depending on performance, the school may look to extend the contract or offer a permanent position.

CONTRACT / POSITION DETAILS

• Location: East Bristol
• Position: Teaching Assistant
• Full-Time: Monday to Friday
• Day Rate: -90 - -110
• Hours: 8:20 am - 3:30 pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Mandatory: Previous childcare experience
• Experience supporting children in a school setting is desirable
• Up-to-date safeguarding training issued within the last year (or willing to complete)
• Experience or interest in Special Educational Needs (SEN), including:
  • Autism
  • Speech & Language Needs
• Strong command of English
• Experience within healthcare settings would be advantageous

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold the Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an Enhanced Child Barred List DBS on the update service, or be willing to apply for one
• Be able to provide 24 months of professional references, including child-related experience
