Job Title: Teaching Assistant - (Key Stage 1 )

Location: St. Helens

Start Date: October 2025 - July 2026

Pay - -445 to -530 ( weekly )

CER Education is supporting a 2 form entry Primary school in the Sutton area of St Helens, in recruiting a FULL TIME Teaching Assistant to work in Key Stage 1

This role will start in October 2025 and will run potentially for the full academic year to July 2026 . You will be supporting across the Key Stage 1 age range and on a 1:1 basis with a pupil with SEND needs. There will also be some general classroom support element to your role.

What you''ll need

• Teaching Assistant qualification with classroom based experience in Key Stage 2
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work independantly and as part of a team
• To support the class teacher and work on a 1:1 basis with pupils with SEND needs
• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
