Teaching Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

• Support class teachers in delivering high-quality teaching and learning

• Provide one-to-one or small group support for pupils as required

• Help maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment

• Assist with lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and behaviour management

• Supervise pupils during break times and transitions

• Foster positive relationships and promote pupil well-being

• Friendly, approachable, and committed to helping children succeed

• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team

• Organised, flexible, and proactive in the classroom

• Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable

• Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are beneficial but not essential
