Clarence Recruitment is currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Rugby. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students'' educational journeys by providing high-quality classroom support and contributing to a positive learning environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and support staff to help students overcome barriers to learning, build confidence, and achieve their academic and personal goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group interventions to support student progress.
• Assist with the preparation of classroom resources and learning materials.
• Support pupils with additional needs, including SEND requirements where appropriate.
• Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
• Encourage student participation, independence, and confidence.
• Monitor student engagement and provide feedback to teaching staff.
• Support pupils during lessons, breaktimes, educational visits, and extracurricular activities when required.

Person Specification

• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
• A patient, caring, and adaptable approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Strong teamwork and organisational skills.
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
• Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
