Teaching Assistant - BlackburnTradewind are seeking a motivated and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis at a Primary School within the Blackburn area. The role will start in May on an ongoing basis. The successful candidate will work alongside the class teacher to support the learning and development of children across all year groups.Key Responsibilities:Working 1-1 with children needing additional supportFull-time hours - 8:30am-3:30pmProviding pastoral support to children who may need extra helpContributing to the creation of a safe and nurturing learning environmentHelping to assess pupil''s progress and keeping accurate recordsSupporting pupils with special educational needsFlexibility to work across different year groupsThe role will include a lunchtime dutyEssential Requirements:Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalentExperience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school settingStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parentsEnhanced DBS on the Update Service and right to work in the UKDesirable Requirements:Knowledge of phonics and early years learningExperience working with children with SENDExperience using ICT to support learningWe offer a supportive and collaborative working environment, ongoing professional development opportunities, and the chance to make a real difference to the lives of children.To apply for this position, please submit ..... full job details .....
