Bitterne Manor Primary School seeks an enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistant to join our team. Help children learn in class, in small groups, or one-on-one, as directed by the teacher or SENCo.Build caring, respectful relationships with children to support their confidence and wellbeing.Learn each child’s needs and provide appropriate support.Help plan, prepare and deliver learning activities, especially for children with additional needs.Provide one-to-one support for children with more complex needs.Qualifications

Caring, patient and passionate about supporting children’s learning and emotional well-being.Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly in a 1:1 support role, or a strong willingness to learn.Strong communication and teamwork skills to work closely with class teachers, SENCo, and other staff.Flexible and proactive approach.Basic understanding of child development and learning strategies, with a commitment to ongoing training and professional growth.Ideally, Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner or Level 2 qualified Teaching Assistant.In Return, We Can Offer You
