TEACHING ASSISTANTS WANTED - ST HELENS

-14+ per hour | Monday-Friday | 8:30am-3:30pm | Full & Part Time | Start ASAP

We''re looking for enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools in St Helens and the surrounding areas, with opportunities available for immediate starts.

Whether you''re an experienced TA or have a background working with children and are ready to move into education, we have a range of opportunities available.


WHAT COULD YOU BE DOING?

Every school and classroom is different. You could find yourself:

* Supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis
* Working with children with SEND and additional needs
* Supporting a KS1 or KS2 classroom
* Running small-group interventions
* Helping with phonics, literacy or numeracy
* Supporting children with their learning, confidence and behaviour
* Working alongside the class teacher to keep the classroom running smoothly
* Joining a school on a longer-term basis with the potential to become permanent

There are opportunities across different year groups and settings, so we can match roles to your experience, strengths and availability.


WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You don''t necessarily need previous experience as a Teaching Assistant.
We''d love to hear from people with experience in:

* Schools and education
* Nurseries and childcare
* Youth work
* Care and support
* SEND settings
* Other roles working with children and young people

Most importantly, you''ll be someone who is patient, caring, reliable and confident building positive relationships with children.
