Be able to work with children with additional needs, showing flexibility, empathy, and patience.
Work with pupils predominantly on a one-on-one basis to address specific learning needs, challenges, and help them settle into school life.
Support, with dignity and respect, individual children''s personal care plans.
Provide planned support including during lunchtimes based on individual needs.
Show excellent communication skills.
Have a passion for education.
Collaborate with class teachers across the school to facilitate a positive and effective learning environment and contribute to the delivery of the ACE curriculum.
Possess a calm personality, resourcefulness, and flexibility to meet individual needs.
Be an effective and empathetic communicator with children, parents, and colleagues.
Show positivity, enthusiasm, patience, and kindness to help all children achieve their potential and become Upstanders rather than Bystanders.
