Seeking a proactive Teaching Assistant to work in the mainstream classroom of a Romford school supporting KS1 children with Learning Difficulties. Teaching Assistant Role and Requirements: Support teaching and learning with children in a KS1 classroom. Provide targeted support to children with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, Speech and Language needs) Assist in delivering engaging and differentiated activities. Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment. Help the children develop confidence, independence, and social skills. Experience and skills to work with KS1 children. Understanding of SEN support strategies within a classroom. A patient, proactive, and nurturing approach. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Happy to assist with personal care if needed. L2/L3 Teaching Assistant/ Care or Send qualification.
