Teaching Assistant and Midday Meal Supervisor
To include working with named pupils with EHCPs 32.5 hours per week LSA (8.30-3.30pm) (half hour unpaid lunch break) Term time only (39 weeks) Permanent - subject to probation We are seeking to appoint a strong, adaptable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support learning across whole classes, as well as working closely with pupils with Special Educational Needs who have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The role will also include responsibilities as a Midday Meal Supervisor. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent literacy and numeracy skills and have a secure understanding of early reading and phonics. A good working knowledge of how to support pupils with language and communication needs, social communication difficulties, cognition and learning needs, and the development of social skills is essential. You will work under the direction of the class teacher and SENCo to provide high-quality support that enables all pupils to achieve their full potential, both academically and socially.
