      <description>Location: Rochdale | Salary: &amp;pound;16060 - &amp;pound;22000/annum | Type: Permanent | Teaching Assistant - Alternative Provision   Hours: 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8:30am to 3:30pm)  Working Pattern: Term Time Only (38 weeks)  Salary: -22,000 FTE   Aspire People is recruiting on behalf of a specialist Alternative Provision in Rochdale for a permanent Teaching Assistant.   This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people who may have experienced barriers to education, including SEMH needs, SEND, anxiety, challenging behaviour, poor attendance or disrupted school placements. The provision uses a trauma-informed and relationship-led approach to help pupils rebuild confidence, re-engage with learning and achieve positive outcomes.   As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to support pupils both academically and emotionally. This is a hands-on role where you will help learners overcome barriers to education, develop positive behaviours and build confidence in themselves and their abilities.
