Teaching Assistant

Affinity Partnerships are looking for full and part-time learning support assistants to work in both Primary and Secondary schools in the Bristol area.The ideal candidate should have experience working with children, whether that''s as a teaching assistant or another role involving working with children, confidence in working with children with a variety of learning abilities and needs, be encouraging and positive as well as being supportive to their educational needs.The successful applicant:Have a sound understanding of Primary and Secondary EducationHave excellent literacy, numeracy, and communication skillsHave confidence supporting the KS1, KS2, KS3 and KS4 curriculumHave experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculumWill be a team player, as well as using their initiative and good sense of humourHave experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Speech and language difficulties both in smalls groups and 1:1.Have a positive approach and be flexible to the demands of the job.
