Teaching Assistant - SEMH experienceAlternative Provision - KS3 and KS4 - PortsmouthAcademics are recruiting on behalf of an Alternative Provision in Portsmouth which caters for secondary aged pupils with social and emotional needs and challenging behaviours who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join them in January.They work closely with their local schools to ensure that vulnerable students, whatever their needs, can continue their education in a learning environment that supports them, but still expects that they will achieve the best possible academic, social and vocational results.They are looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a full-time, on-going supply contract to start in January.You will be required to support students in class and also on a 1:1 basis, offering academic and emotional support to pupils in KS3 and KS4.
