Teaching Assistant

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant who enjoys helping children thrive in the classroom? Are you looking for flexibility to fit around other commitments? Academics are currently looking for dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistants to work with one of our schools in Alderley Edge and others around the area on a supply basis.

The role

• Supporting pupils academically and pastorally
• Working with small groups or individuals
• Assisting with classroom activities
• Providing additional learning support to help children gain confidence and independence

What we''re looking for

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or within a UK school setting
• A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development

• Someone who is approachable, patient and able to adapt their support to meet the needs of different children.

• The ability to commute to Alderley Edge and surrounding areas
• The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
• Confidence supporting children on a one-to-one or small-group basis
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification would be desired, but is not essential
