Teaching Assistant - DoverWe are currently working with a welcoming and inclusive Primary School in Dover who are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team.Although the school is a mainstream Primary setting, they have a high level of SEN needs across the school, making this an excellent opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them overcome barriers to learning.The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers and the wider support team, providing both classroom and targeted support to pupils.The role:Supporting pupils across the Primary age rangeProviding 1:1 and small-group supportSupporting children with a range of SEN and additional needsHelping pupils overcome barriers to learningAssisting teachers with classroom activities and learningSupporting pupils'' social, emotional and academic developmentWorking closely with teachers and the wider school teamCreating a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environmentThe ideal candidate:Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant is desirableExperience supporting children with SEN is highly desirablePatient, nurturing and understandingConfident supporting pupils with a range of needsAble to build positive relationships with childrenReliable, adaptable and enthusiasticHolds an Enhanced DBS, or is willing to obtain oneThis is a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who particularly enjoys SEN-focused ..... full job details .....
