This Teaching Assistant role requires someone who has a good class room practice and excellent communication skills. The Year 5 class you will be supporting has 2 children with SEN that need extra support at different times of the day and then will also require to work as a general class support for the rest of the day. This role will need you to be flexible, enthusiastic and be willing to work alongside the rest of the KS2 team to make sure that their children get the best possible education.The school is very well known in the borough for excellent academic and pastoral progress, with children leaving the school in Year 6 with results well above the national average.
