This is an excellent opportunity for a Teaching Assistant in High Wycombe to secure a long-term position with the potential to become permanent through a temp-to-perm arrangement.

The Role

• Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEMH and autism.
• Building positive relationships and encouraging engagement in learning.
• Promoting positive behaviour, emotional regulation and independence.
• Working closely with teachers and other support staff to deliver personalised support.
• Helping maintain a consistent, calm and nurturing learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience supporting children or young people with additional needs.
• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A genuine commitment to helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.
• A relevant background in education, care, youth work or support work would be beneficial.
