The-Role

As-our-GCSE-Photography-Teacher,-you-will-deliver-high-quality,-engaging-lessons-aligned-with-the-GCSE-Art-and-Design-(Photography)-curriculum.-You-will-guide-students-through-the-fundamental-stages-of-visual-research,-technical-execution-and-portfolio-development,-ensuring-they-are-fully-prepared-for-their-coursework-(Component-1)-and-externally-set-assignments-(Component-2).

Key-Responsibilities

• GCSE-Delivery:-Plan-and-teach-comprehensive-lessons-covering-digital-photography,-lighting,-composition,-and-digital-workflow-tailored-to-the-GCSE-criteria.
• Portfolio-Development:-Guide-students-in-building-high-quality-physical-or-digital-portfolios,-emphasising-critical-analysis-and-contextual-understanding.
• Studio-Management:-Oversee-the-school''s-digital-suite-and-equipment-inventory,-ensuring-a-safe-and-inspiring-learning-environment.
• Assessment-&-Feedback:-Provide-constructive-feedback-in-line-with-exam-board-assessment-objectives-to-help-students-maximise-their-potential.

• Qualifications:-A-degree-in-Photography,-Fine-Art,-or-a-related-discipline.-A-recognized-teaching-qualification-(QTS-/-PGCE)-is-highly-desirable,-though-instructors-with-strong-subject-specialist-experience-are-encouraged-to-apply.
