The school supports young people with SEMH, trauma and associated SEND needs, providing a highly individualised approach to teaching, behaviour and wellbeing. This is not a traditional classroom environment. Pupils may have experienced significant disruption within education, so teachers need to be able to build strong relationships, understand what sits behind behaviour and adapt their teaching to help young people re-engage and progress.
