Teacher Therapeutic SEMH School Location: Chelmsford, Essex Contract: Permanent, Term Time Start Date: January 2027 or sooner, subject to notice period Hours: Monday Friday Full-time Salary: £36,000 £52,000pa, dependent on experience LTE Search is supporting an established specialist school in Chelmsford to appoint a Teacher to join its team. The school supports young people with SEMH, trauma and associated SEND needs, providing a highly individualised approach to teaching, behaviour and wellbeing. This is not a traditional classroom environment. Pupils may have experienced significant disruption within education, so teachers need to be able to build strong relationships, understand what sits behind behaviour and adapt their teaching to help young people re-engage and progress. The Role You''ll teach a broad and engaging curriculum to small groups of young people, adapting lessons to their individual academic levels, needs and interests. We''re open to both Primary and Secondary trained teachers from any subject specialism. You will, however, need to be confident teaching at least two curriculum areas, with the ability to contribute beyond your main subject.
