Teacher - Temporary Contract
The Role We are seeking a committed and adaptable Teacher to deliver a range of curricular areas across the Broad General Education (BGE) and Senior Phase. This role requires a flexible practitioner who can respond to the diverse needs of our learners, contribute across subject areas, and support wider curriculum delivery. You will play a key role in re-engaging young people with education and supporting them to achieve meaningful and sustainable outcomes. Main Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons to small groups of pupils, adapting approaches to meet individual needs. Deliver assigned classes, including preparation, assessment and feedback, both in-person and online where required. Create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes engagement, wellbeing and achievement. Assess, record and report on pupil progress, using this information to inform next steps in learning. Support the development of pupils'' confidence, resilience, and skills for learning, life and work. Contribute to the design and ongoing development of a flexible and relevant curriculum. Prepare pupils for qualifications and support examination processes. Act as a Key Teacher, supporting the pastoral needs of allocated pupils and contributing to multi-agency planning and review meetings.
