Teacher of Travel and Tourism (Maternity Cover)Location: Thanet, KentStart Date: September 2026Contract: Full-Time, Maternity Cover (Initially 6 Months, Potential to Extend)Salary: £170.00 - £260.00 per day (aligned with your current pay scale)Teacher of Travel and Tourism Required - ThanetAcademics are working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school and sixth form in Thanet who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Travel and Tourism to join their team from September 2026 on a full-time maternity cover basis.This position is initially for 6 months, with the possibility of an extension for the right candidate.The RoleYou will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across BTEC Travel and Tourism Level 2 and Level 3 courses, helping students develop both their academic knowledge and industry-relevant skills.The successful candidate will:Plan and deliver inspiring Travel and Tourism lessons to Level 2 and Level 3 learnersMonitor and assess student progress in line with BTEC requirementsCreate a positive and inclusive learning environmentSupport students in achieving their full potentialWork collaboratively with colleagues within the department and wider school communityThe Ideal CandidateWe are looking for a teacher who:Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS, or an equivalent teaching qualificationHas experience teaching Travel and Tourism, preferably at BTEC Level 2 and/or Level 3Demonstrates strong classroom management ..... full job details .....
