About the Role:
An ambitious and inclusive secondary school located in Bedford is seeking a passionate and skilled Teacher of Spanish to join their dynamic Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) department. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator to deliver high-quality language teaching and make a meaningful impact on studentsandrsquo; cultural and linguistic understanding.
You will be responsible for teaching Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will bring creativity, energy, and a genuine love for languages into the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Spanish lessons that motivate and challenge learners of all abilities
- Foster a positive classroom culture that promotes communication, cultural awareness, and respect
- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources, including technology, to enrich the learning experience
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback
Requirements:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a relevant degree in Spanish or a related field
- Experience teaching Spanish within a secondary school environment (NQTs and ECTs welcome to apply)
- Strong subject knowledge with an enthusiasm for language and culture
- Excellent classroom management skills with a focus on inclusive practice
