Clarence Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Rugby, Warwickshire, seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Spanish Teacher to join their Modern Foreign Languages Department from the start of the new academic year.
This is an exciting opportunity to teach Spanish across Key Stage 3 and GCSE, inspiring students to develop confidence in language learning while broadening their understanding of Spanish culture and the wider world. The role is offered on a rolling term-time contract, providing continuity and stability throughout the academic year.

The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Deliver engaging and effective Spanish lessons across KS3 and GCSE.
- Foster a love of languages and encourage students to become confident communicators.
- Teach speaking, listening, reading and writing skills to students of varying abilities.
- Plan, prepare and assess lessons that promote progress and achievement.
- Prepare students for GCSE examinations and internal assessments.
- Monitor attainment and provide targeted support where required.
- Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
- Maintain high expectations of behaviour, effort and achievement.
- Contribute to the continued development of the Spanish curriculum and MFL department.
- Support cultural enrichment opportunities and promote the value of language learning.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching Spanish within a secondary school setting.
- Possesses strong subject knowledge across KS3 and GCSE Spanish.
- Can deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that inspire learners of all abilities.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
- Has high expectations and a commitment to raising achievement.
- Is committed to inclusive education and supporting positive outcomes for every student.
- Shares a genuine commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.
