About the Role:
A secondary school with a reputation for academic rigour and student-centred learning is seeking a versatile and enthusiastic Teacher of Social Sciences. The successful candidate will teach subjects such as Sociology, Psychology, and Citizenship across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging Social Sciences lessons across the key stages
• Encourage discussion, analysis, and independent thought
• Monitor and assess pupil progress using a range of assessment tools
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Humanities faculty
• Contribute to extra-curricular and enrichment activities

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• A degree in a relevant Social Science subject
• Sound knowledge of the current curriculum and pedagogy
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• A genuine enthusiasm for developing student understanding of society
