Teacher of Science required in Chesham.

KS3/4 General Science teaching role with immediate start option available.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teacher of Science to join a secondary academy in Chesham. The school is looking to appoint a motivated Science specialist who can inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4. Both immediate and September start dates are available.

This role would suit an educator who enjoys teaching across Biology, Chemistry and Physics within a general Science timetable. You''ll be joining a department committed to developing curiosity, practical skills and scientific understanding among students.

Key Duties

• Deliver General Science lessons (KS3/4)
• Prepare engaging classroom activities and practical investigations
• Assess, record and report on student progress
• Support students of varying abilities to achieve their potential
• Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Science department

The Successful Applicant Will Have

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Science in a secondary setting
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Excellent subject knowledge
• A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
