Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher looking for a long-term opportunity within a supportive secondary school?
Clarence Recruitment is working in partnership with a successful and well-respected secondary school in Rugby, Warwickshire, seeking to appoint an engaging Teacher of Science for an ongoing rolling contract starting as soon as possible.
This is an exciting opportunity to teach Science across Key Stage 3 and GCSE, inspiring students to develop curiosity, analytical thinking and a deeper understanding of the world around them. The school is seeking a passionate classroom practitioner who can deliver high-quality lessons, foster a love of science and help students achieve their full potential.

The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across KS3 and GCSE.
- Inspire students to develop curiosity and enthusiasm for scientific learning.
- Plan, prepare and assess high-quality lessons that drive pupil progress.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of students of all abilities.
- Monitor attainment and provide targeted support where required.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, effort and achievement.
- Contribute to the ongoing success and development of the Science department.
- Support students in preparing for internal assessments and GCSE examinations.
- Encourage students to explore future opportunities within STEM-related careers.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting.
- Possesses strong subject knowledge across KS3 and GCSE Science.
- Can deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire learners.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Has strong communication, planning and organisational abilities.
- Is committed to achieving excellent outcomes for all pupils.
- Works effectively as part of a collaborative department team.
- Shares a genuine commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.
