Teacher of Physical Education

The role: Northwood College for Girls is seeking an inspiring and impactful Teacher of Physical Education to join our vibrant PE Department on a permanent basis. Working closely with our enthusiastic and ambitious Director of Sport, you will play a critical role in the crafting and delivery of the PE curriculum from EYFS through to KS5. You will be a passionate subject advocate, who is eager to communicate your enthusiasm for sport and physical activity in order to encourage NWC girls to strive for success, whilst also developing an understanding of the importance of an active lifestyle. You will be a flexible team player, committed to supporting your departmental colleagues and will readily contribute to the wider life of the department and school through extra-curricular squads, clubs and fixtures. You will be capable of coaching more than one sport to a high standard, and particular expertise in football, netball, hockey, badminton, tennis, or athletics would be advantageous. We have two vacancies in the PE Department, one full-time permanent role and another full-time temporary maternity cover which will be for a minimum of two terms.
