1. Teaching and Curriculum Delivery

• Plan, deliver, and assess physical education lessons in line with national curriculum standards.

• Teach a wide range of sports and physical activities (e.g., athletics, team sports, gymnastics, fitness).

• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all students, including those with disabilities or lower fitness levels.

• Encourage students to develop lifelong habits of physical activity and healthy living.

• Educate students on the importance of physical fitness, nutrition, and overall well-being.

• Monitor students’ physical development and provide guidance for improvement.

• Promote teamwork, cooperation, and leadership through group activities and sports.

• Help students develop self-discipline, resilience, and confidence.

• Address issues such as sportsmanship, fair play, and respect.

• Organize and supervise school sports clubs, teams, and competitions.

• Lead after-school or lunchtime physical activity sessions.

• Coordinate with external organizations for sports events or workshops.

• Ensure all physical activities are conducted safely.

• Conduct risk assessments for equipment and facilities.

• Respond to injuries and emergencies appropriately.

• Serve as a positive role model in attitude, behavior, and lifestyle.

• Motivate and mentor students, particularly those struggling with confidence or engagement.

• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all learners.

• Maintain records of student progress and fitness levels.
