Hays Education are currently working in partnership with a welcoming and well-resourced secondary school to recruit a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Performing Arts to join their team. The school is ideally located close to the town centre, with excellent public transport links, making it easily accessible.The RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Teacher of Performing Arts to inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience is desirable but not essential). You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that encourage a love of the arts and support students in achieving their full academic potential.Key Responsibilities Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated Drama lessonsTeaching across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)Assessing, monitoring and reporting on student progressCreating a positive and inclusive learning environmentSupporting students of varying abilities, including those with additional needsContributing to the wider school community and department developmentRequirementsQualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalentDegree in Drama or a related subjectExperience teaching Performing Arts within a secondary school settingStrong classroom management skillsExcellent communication and organisational abilitiesAn enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one through Hays)What Hays Can Offer YouCompetitive rates of payDedicated support from a specialist education consultantAccess to a wide range of ..... full job details .....
