Your new companyHays Education is working in partnership with a range of secondary schools across London to recruit enthusiastic and committed Teachers of Physical Education for current and forthcoming roles.We are keen to hear from qualified PE teachers who are passionate about promoting physical activity, teamwork and wellbeing, and who can deliver engaging, high-quality PE lessons across the secondary age range.Your new roleAs a Teacher of PE, you will:Deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable)Plan, prepare and assess engaging lessons that promote participation and progressEncourage positive attitudes towards physical activity, health and wellbeingContribute to extracurricular sports activities and school competitions where requiredMaintain high standards of behaviour and classroom managementWork collaboratively within a dynamic and supportive departmentWhat you''ll need to succeedWe are looking for teachers who:Hold QTS (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)Have experience teaching PE in a UK secondary school settingDemonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for Physical EducationAre confident, organised and able to motivate students of all abilitiesHave a strong understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practiceAre flexible and keen to work across London schoolsWhat you''ll get in returnCompetitive rates of pay, in line with your experience and the roleOpportunities for long-term, permanent or ..... full job details .....
