Job Type: Long-Term SupplySalary: Competitive, based on experience £160 - £232 (paid to scale to M6)About the Role:We are seeking an enthusiastic female PE Teacher to join our team on a long-term supply basis some time after February half-term, to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality physical education lessons to students of varying abilities, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons that cater to the needs of all students in KS3/KS4Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.Promote physical fitness and healthy lifestyles.Organise and supervise extracurricular sports activities and events.Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.Experience teaching PE at secondary school, UK curriculumStrong knowledge of the national curriculum for physical education.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to inspire and motivate students.Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
