Job Title: Media Studies Teacher Location: Leicester Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: 32,926 - 39,556 MPS/UPS (dependent on experience) Start Date: September 2026Job DescriptionWe are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Media Studies Teacher to join a dynamic and forward-thinking secondary school in Leicester The successful candidate will be passionate about media, film, and digital culture, and committed to delivering engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5. You will play a key role in developing students'' analytical, creative, and technical skills, preparing them for further education and careers within the media and creative industries.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver high-quality Media Studies lessons in line with the national curriculumTeach across KS4 and KS5, including GCSE and A-Level Media StudiesCreate a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and achievementAssess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedbackSupport students in developing both theoretical understanding and practical media production skillsContribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities (e.g. film clubs, media projects)Maintain strong classroom management and uphold school behaviour policiesWork collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to departmental successRequirementsQualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalentDegree in Media Studies, Film, Communications, or a related ..... full job details .....
