Interaction Education are really pleased to currently be supporting a great school in Berkshire in their search for a Temporary teacher of Mathematics to join their team after Christmas with ongoing work available.This role would only suit someone with previous expeirence of teaching maths in a secondary setting.Key responsibilities for the role are below:Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality mathematics lessons to Year 8 and Year 9 students. Differentiate lessons to meet the diverse needs of all learners. Assess, track, and report on student progress regularly. Develop and maintain positive relationships with students to encourage their engagement and academic success. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent teaching strategies and best practices. Contribute to the department s continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in school-wide events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities. Qualifications and Experience: A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE) or equivalent. Strong understanding of the Year 8 and Year 9 mathematics curriculum. Previous teaching experience is desirable, but not essential for the right candidate. Excellent communication skills and a passion for mathematics. Ability to motivate and inspire students, fostering a love for the subject. Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to creating an inclusive and positive learning environment.
