Maths Teacher - Northampton Secondary Schools | September Start | Long-Term Opportunities Available

We have a range of exciting long-term placements available from September, offering both full-time and part-time opportunities within supportive and welcoming school environments. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Schools are increasingly seeking Maths Teachers who can differentiate learning effectively, create inclusive classroom environments, and support students with a range of additional needs to achieve their full potential.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with opportunities for Key Stage 5 in some schools).
• Plan, prepare, and assess student progress in line with curriculum expectations.
• Support students of varying abilities, including those with SEND.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes achievement and confidence.
• Work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and wider support teams where required.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom management skills and a passion for raising attainment.
• SEN/SEND experience or a willingness to develop expertise in this area.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
